About the Role As a Locum Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people aged 0–25 by delivering high-quality statutory psychological advice and evidence-based recommendations. Your responsibilities will include: Completing statutory psychological assessments for children and young people with SEND. Producing high-quality, outcome-focused psychological advice to support Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments. Working collaboratively with parents, carers, schools and multi-agency professionals. Applying evidence-informed psychological practice to improve outcomes for children and young people. Providing child-centred recommendations that support positive educational and developmental outcomes. Managing your own caseload while maintaining high professional standards. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A UK-recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology. HCPC registration. A minimum of two years' experience working within a Local Authority. Excellent report writing, analytical and organisational skills. The ability to complete at least one in-person assessment each month. An enhanced DBS and up-to-date GDPR training. The right to work in the UK.
