We Do Group are supporting a founder led, PE backed multi site hospitality business as it moves into the next stage of its growth. The business has a proven operating model, committed investment and clear plans to expand its site footprint. As part of this next phase, they are looking to appoint a Head of Finance to strengthen financial leadership, improve visibility across the numbers and support smarter decision making as the business scales.
This role has been designed to suit someone stepping into a number one finance position for the first time, or a Head of Finance looking to grow with a business over the next few years.
THE ROLEReporting directly to the Founder and working closely with investors and the senior leadership team, you will lead the day to day finance function and play a key role in shaping how finance supports growth. This is a hands on role, combining strong financial control with commercial insight. You will be close to the detail, responsible for core finance delivery, while also helping the business plan, forecast and scale effectively. The business operates a multi site model and is continuing to invest in systems, processes and people to support expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the finance function for a growing multi site business
- Own monthly management accounts, forecasting and budgeting
- Manage cashflow, controls and financial discipline
- Prepare clear, meaningful reporting for leadership and investors
- Support commercial decision making across new and existing sites
- Partner closely with the Founder and senior leadership team
- Develop finance processes, reporting and systems as the business grows
- Build and manage a finance team appropriate for the current stage of the business
- Work with external advisors, banks and investors
- Support longer term growth planning and value creation
- Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience in a hands on finance leadership role
- Background in multi site, leisure, hospitality, consumer or fast paced operational environments
- Comfortable operating as the lead finance person in a business
- Commercially curious and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
- Practical, adaptable and comfortable working in a growing environment
- Interested in developing with a business rather than stepping into a finished setup
- Founder led business with strong PE backing
