We’re hiring a UK Financial Controller for a rapidly expanding outdoor media platform that acquires, develops, and digitises advertising assets across multiple international markets. The UK business continues to scale and this role will take ownership of financial control, reporting, and cost management, while partnering closely with operational teams.
You’ll oversee the UK close process, strengthen financial controls, and provide clear insight into cost performance. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll also support budgeting, forecasting, and board-level reporting while helping the business improve financial processes as it grows.
WISH LIST- Experience owning month-end close and financial control within a growing business
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
- Comfortable partnering with operational teams and challenging spend where needed
- Own and manage the UK month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure balance sheet integrity and strong financial control across the UK business
- Maintain and strengthen the UK financial control framework
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for the UK entity
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs with analysis and variance commentary
- Partner with operational teams to monitor and control costs
- Challenge spending and provide insight to improve financial performance
- Support the annual budgeting process with input from operational teams
- Assist with regular reforecasting and updates to financial projections
- Track key financial and operational KPIs across the UK business
- Support board reporting and financial presentations for senior leadership
- Drive improvements in finance processes, reporting, and systems
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA)
- Effective communicator – written & verbal
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong experience in financial control, reporting, and month-end ownership
- Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance teams
£80,000–£90,000 salary
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days from home
