We Do Group is supporting a rapidly scaling, US VC backed, AI optimised SaaS business to hire their first Finance leader post Series A. This role offers the opportunity to join a well backed organisation supporting global organisations to deliver agentic AI solutions and experiencing rapid YoY revenue growth as a result.
We are looking for an experienced Controller, Senior Manager or Head of who has had experience in early stage Seed or Series A/B organisations and aspires to build towards a full CFO role in the future. This position works closely with the COO and wider leadership team including the CEO, VP of Sales and advisory CFO.

The Role
The successful Finance Director will lead the following:
- Building a single source of truth for financial data - implementing rev rec, expense management, and reporting systems from scratch
- Owning and delivering monthly close across UK, US, and India entities, replacing a manual, spreadsheet-based process with scalable, trustworthy workflows
- Managing outsourced accountants, bookkeepers, and tax advisors while right-sizing lightweight finance systems (scope to implement Xero, NetSuite, etc.)
- Developing and preparing investor grade and board-ready reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR etc)
- Getting the company Series B-ready - supporting fundraising preparation, budgeting, cash runway management, strategy and scenario planning
- Building and developing a high performing finance team over time.
Your Profile
We are looking for a high potential, fully qualified, finance leader who has broad experience within fast paced, agile technology businesses during their scaling and fundraising phase. We need someone detail orientated and systems savvy who has had experience creating finance structure from scratch and enjoys the challenge of delivering this at pace.
The business culture is agile and fast paced - you'll need to have the ability to challenge internal and external stakeholders/investors when appropriate while pro-actively seeking to make improvements wherever possible.
Salary & Benefits
£110-140k + 20% bonus, equity, pension and healthcare. This role is based in stunning offices in central London and will require in office presence 3 days per week.
