I'm supporting a large international business with the appointment of an experienced Group Reporting Accountant for an urgent interim assignment.
The key requirement is hands-on project experience in revenue accounting, specifically the transition to FRS 102.
We need someone who can support or manage the project end-to-end, including:
- Prepare monthly group management accounts, consolidating results across multiple entities.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and accounting for foreign currency movements.
- Review entity submissions, ensuring accurate reporting and consistent application of group accounting policies.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and support statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support the year-end audit, preparing schedules and liaising with external auditors.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on areas such as revenue recognition, leases and provisions.
- Support group budgeting and forecasting, providing commentary on key variances.
- Monitor group cash flow and working capital, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting processes across the group.
- Support the integration of acquisitions into group reporting and accounting processes.
- Work closely with local finance teams to deliver accurate reporting within agreed deadlines.
The wider role will also support group consolidation, statutory reporting, intercompany adjustments, balance-sheet control and the review of submissions from international entities.
You must be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting and group reporting experience.
The successful candidate must be available to start immediately or at very short notice.
