We’re working with a fast-growing business in the food services sector, currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on an permanent basis.

This is a key role for a proactive and detail-driven finance professional who can deliver accurate reporting, support audits, and provide financial insights to help guide decision-making. You’ll be joining during a busy period and will need to be confident working independently while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts at company and cost centre level
  • Deliver half-year, full-year, monthly, and quarterly reporting packs in line with group requirements
  • Lead on annual and interim audit preparation, managing audit queries and ensuring statutory compliance
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounts
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations, invoicing, and accounting
  • Support business partnering by providing financial insight and ensuring key drivers are understood across the business
  • Implement and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting standards
  • Ensure transactions are correctly recorded in accordance with accounting standards and treatments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial and management accounting
  • Excellent Excel skills; Sage 200 experience preferred but not essential
  • Experience working in a multi-site or service industry environment desirable
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and available to start immediately
