What You’ll Own- Strategic Planning & Brand Leadership
- Develop and execute short- and long-term brand strategies for UK and overseas.
- Influence brand and channel decision-making, acting as a trusted thought partner.
- Financial Performance & ROI Management
- Lead financial oversight of substantial marketing and P&L budgets.
- Drive forecast accuracy, challenge assumptions, and identify cost efficiencies.
- Optimise ROI through strong financial judgement and in-depth analysis.
- Insight & P&L Analysis
- Analyse full brand P&Ls and deliver actionable insights that enhance value.
- Communicate performance trends clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Strategic Revenue Management
- Model S&R initiatives and guide pricing, mix, and promotional strategies with data-driven recommendations.
- Innovation & Business Case Leadership
- Build compelling business cases for innovation and new product development.
- Partner with marketing and sales to track performance and ensure commercial success.
- Forecasting & Reporting
- Own brand-level forecasting, presenting results and outlooks to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Analytical Excellence
- Use advanced analytical tools and modelling techniques to support critical decisions.
- Push analytical thinking across the organisation.
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Build trusted relationships across marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance to drive alignment and performance.
- Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
- Strong commercial finance experience — ideally in FMCG, retail, or branded consumer products.
- Ability to challenge, influence, and lead across a matrix organisation.
- Exceptional communication skills — including distilling complex insights into simple, powerful messages.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused, with strong financial and analytical capability.
