We're partnering with a fast-paced, PE-backed technology business looking for a Head of HR to lead the people agenda and help support the next stage of growth. This isn't one of those roles where you spend your days hidden behind policies and procedures. This is a proper hands-on Head of HR role.
You will support the Board on strategic people decisions one minute and be rolling up your sleeves to deal with employee relations, recruitment, payroll or a tricky manager conversation the next. If you enjoy variety, autonomy and getting stuff done, this could be a brilliant opportunity. At this stage, this is a standalone role.
This is an international technology business with a genuinely impressive product and an ambitious leadership team. They're innovators in their sector and have built a market-leading position through a combination of technology, creativity and a relentless focus on their customers. Backed by Private Equity, the business is investing heavily in people, systems and infrastructure as they continue to grow. The culture is fast-paced and entrepreneurial.
Reporting directly into the CFO and working closely with the leadership team, you'll own the HR function and be responsible for creating an environment where people can do their best work. You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the Board and leadership team on all people-related matters.
- Developing and delivering the people strategy.
- Leading recruitment and workforce planning activities.
- Managing employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Reviewing and improving HR policies, systems and processes.
- Supporting organisational design and change initiatives.
- Overseeing payroll inputs, benefits and HR administration.
- Using HR systems and people data to drive better decision making.
- Championing culture, engagement and employee wellbeing.
- Getting stuck in wherever needed.
We want someone who loves HR. A commercial and creative person who enjoys building relationships and solving problems. Someone happy being hands-on one minute and supporting the Board the next. You'll probably already be operating as a Head of HR, Head of People or Senior HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment.
