We are looking for an energetic and forward-thinking FP&A leader with a brilliant background in commercial finance.

We’re looking for a finance leader who can take ownership of the company-wide FP&A function, helping to shape strategy and optimise performance. This is a fantastic chance to make a visible impact in a high-growth environment, working directly with senior leaders to drive informed decision-making.

What we’re looking for:
Proven experience leading end-to-end FP&A in a dynamic, fast-paced business
Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing FP&A teams
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Experience providing financial insights and partnering with executives on key business decisions
Strong academics and a career that shows loyalty and fast-track progression
Excellent data, analytics, and modelling skills
Sector knowledge – B2B. Also Telco, IT Service, Facilities, Construction, Engineering etc – Business that are out doing things!
About the role:
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead planning and analysis across the group. You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate forecasts, building actionable insights, and championing best-practice financial processes. Beyond reporting, you’ll act as a key advisor to leadership, proactively identifying opportunities and risks, and ensuring financial strategies align with business objectives.
This is a highly impactful and commercial role.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning
• Deliver variance analysis and actionable recommendations to drive performance
• Partner with senior leaders across the business to inform decisions on pricing, investments, and growth opportunities
• Develop and maintain clear dashboards and performance metrics for senior management
• Build, mentor, and inspire an FP&A team focused on continuous improvement
• Create business cases for new projects and investments, including financial evaluation of risks and returns
• Drive cost management and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Provide financial modelling and data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives
• Monitor external and macroeconomic factors to assess and mitigate potential financial risks
