If you care about sport, this will feel very different to your typical FP&A role. This is not a quiet, month end, sit in the corner type job. This is a fast moving, commercial role embedded in a global sports retailer that is expanding across markets, channels and product lines. New stores. New regions. New revenue streams. Big decisions being made quickly, with someone needing to model what that actually means before the business moves. That is where you come in.
You will own the valuation model. Not just maintaining it, but evolving it, using it to run scenarios and support decisions across growth, investment and M&A. Alongside that, you will still cover budgeting, forecasting and reporting, but in a business where those outputs are genuinely used, challenged and acted on. You will be working closely with senior leadership, with real visibility across the business, in a PE backed environment focused on pace and value creation.
