We’re partnering with a fast-paced and global business with a turnover around £1 billion – and expanding. They’re looking for an experienced Chief People Officer to lead their people strategy at a pivotal time in their expansion. As the Chief People Officer, you’ll play a central role in driving the people agenda across the business, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing a people strategy that aligns with business goals and supports sustainable growth across all divisions. This is a cradle-to-grave HR role, offering you the opportunity to influence and improve the entire employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • People Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the people strategy globally, aligning it with business goals and objectives. Ensure the strategy supports growth, performance, and employee engagement at every level.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate talent. Partner with finance to ensure alignment with budget and market trends.
  • Employee Life Cycle Management: From talent acquisition and onboarding to development, retention, and offboarding – you’ll drive best practices and innovation in every stage of the employee journey.
  • Onboarding & Talent Acquisition: Lead and enhance the recruitment process, ensuring we attract the best talent. Oversee a seamless onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success.
  • Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: Be the primary escalation point for complex employee relations issues, disputes, and legal matters. Work with internal and external counsel to manage employment issues and mitigate risk.
  • HR Systems & Technology: Lead the implementation and optimization of Workday to enhance HR operational efficiency, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I): Drive DE&I strategies to ensure a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment. Champion cultural change to reflect and support the company's values.
  • Leadership Development & People Leadership: Provide leadership to the global HR team, mentoring and developing senior HR professionals. Ensure the HR team is empowered to be strategic partners to business leaders at all levels.
  • Change Management & Commercial Support: Lead HR through organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions. Partner with senior leadership to drive change initiatives, providing commercial insights and support to meet business objectives.
  • Performance Management & Culture: Develop and drive high-performance culture initiatives across the business. Oversee the design and execution of performance management frameworks that promote accountability and growth.
