Initial Interim Contract £32,000–£36,000 per annum (Equivalent to Hourly Rate | Inside IR35) Surrey – Hybrid Working (3 Days On-Site)

We're supporting a growing FMCG manufacturer undergoing a significant transformation across its Supply Chain and Planning functions. As part of this programme, they're looking to appoint a Master Data & Demand Planning Administrator to help improve the quality of planning data and support the implementation of new forecasting processes across the business. This is a newly created role supporting a major transformation programme. The initial requirement is expected to be around six weeks; however, there is a strong likelihood the assignment will extend and genuine potential for the role to become permanent as the planning function continues to evolve. The Role

Working closely with the Demand Planning Manager, you'll become the central point of contact for planning administration and master data, ensuring products, locations, suppliers, routes, and forecasting information are maintained accurately across multiple business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update master data across products, suppliers, locations, routes, recipes, and planning systems
  • Support the Demand Planning team with forecasting administration and planning cycle activities
  • Process new product launches, range changes, location openings, closures, and operational updates
  • Perform regular data validation, reconciliations, and quality checks to ensure planning data remains accurate
  • Produce weekly and monthly planning reports, KPI dashboards, and business performance packs
  • Support forecasting activities during peak trading periods and holiday cover
  • Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate planning updates
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies while maintaining robust audit trails
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning processes, and master data governance
  • Provide administrative support across the wider Planning function as required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Master Data, Planning Support, Supply Chain Administration, or Data Administration role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience maintaining large volumes of business-critical data
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience using ERP, forecasting, or planning systems desirable
  • Exposure to Power BI or Power Query advantageous
  • Proactive mindset with a genuine interest in planning and continuous improvement
