We Do Group are working exclusively with a fantastic, rapidly-growing accountancy firm based on the outskirts of Reading, with the recruitment of an experienced Bookkeeper.

The role: The role of Bookkeeper will be to provide significant support to Client Managers, in their efforts to deliver first-class service to their portfolio of businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Process sales & purchase invoices, payments and bank feeds.
- Reconcile bank, credit card and control accounts.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping for portfolio of clients.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist with month-end procedures and the preparation of management accounts.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Post adjusting journals, including month-end payroll.
What you’ll bring:
- You will be AAT Qualified or QBE, with previous experience in a bookkeeping role.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Clear & confident communicator, both internally and with clients.
