We Do Group are working exclusively with a fantastic, rapidly-growing accountancy firm based on the outskirts of Reading, with the recruitment of an experienced Bookkeeper.

The role: The role of Bookkeeper will be to provide significant support to Client Managers, in their efforts to deliver first-class service to their portfolio of businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Process sales & purchase invoices, payments and bank feeds.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card and control accounts.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping for portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Assist with month-end procedures and the preparation of management accounts.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Post adjusting journals, including month-end payroll.

What you’ll bring:

  • You will be AAT Qualified or QBE, with previous experience in a bookkeeping role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Clear & confident communicator, both internally and with clients.
