This is much more than a traditional month-end role. The business operates across around 25 companies in the UK and internationally and is investing heavily in its finance function, with a real focus on better data, smarter reporting and greater commercial insight. Initially, around 70% of the role will focus on management accounting, with the remaining 30% protected for data, reporting and automation projects. As processes improve and reporting becomes more automated, the role will evolve increasingly towards FP A, commercial analysis and business partnering. They’re looking for someone sharp, curious and ambitious – someone with the potential to grow quickly and take on much more as the role develops. The culture is another big selling point.
