The spacious lounge bustles with activity, and five bathrooms cater to various needs. Outdoors, a private garden with a versatile sensory room completes the setting. We offer nutritious home-cooked meals from our fully equipped kitchen, along with on-site laundry. Chapel House provides round-the-clock nursing care for people with acquired brain injuries, as a 3L service under We Change Lives. Our approach is person-centred, ensuring a high level of care tailored to our residents' needs.
About Crook: Crook is in Winsford, once a warehouse and community chapel, is now a unique six-bed home for individuals with complex health needs and disabilities, including acquired brain injuries, as a 3L service under We Change Lives. Accessible via a wheelchair-friendly ramp, it boasts a spacious lounge, dining area, and a private garden with a summer house. Personalisation is encouraged in the six light and well-furnished bedrooms. Our fully equipped kitchen provides nutritious home-cooked meals, and on-site laundry simplifies daily life. Our approach is entirely centered on the people we support.
A Day in the Life of a Support Worker: As a Support Worker, no two days are alike - much like the diverse individuals we support. Our approach revolves around person-centered planning, tailoring our services to suit the distinct requirements of each person we support. We are deeply committed to working towards positive outcomes for every individual, celebrating even the smallest milestones on their journey to personal growth. As a Support Worker, you'll be equipped with comprehensive training to provide a wide range of assistance, including personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence and confidence, and nurturing positive relationships through effective communication. You will be supporting people with learning disabilities and complex care needs.
