Service: Lucklaw Supported Living

Hours per week: 1 x 12 Hours Days

Salary: £12.61 per hour

About Lucklaw

Lucklaw is a warm and welcoming Supported Living home, thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique needs of up to four individuals with learning and physical disabilities, including those classified as having PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities). Our specially adapted bungalow, complete with a spacious garden and a homely atmosphere, provides a truly personal experience of support and adult life, living in the company of a small, close‑knit group.

A Day in the Life of a Learning Disability Support Worker

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, no two days are alike – our approach revolves around person‑centred planning, tailoring our services to suit the distinct requirements of each person we support. We are deeply committed to working towards positive outcomes for every individual, celebrating even the smallest milestones on their journey to personal growth. As a Support Worker, you’ll be equipped with comprehensive training to provide a wide range of assistance, including personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence and confidence, and nurturing positive relationships through effective communication.
