About the Company: We are a large Care Home provider consisting of 35 Care Homes in the North and Northwest of England. Celebrating 18 years of excellence in providing a happy and homely environment for our residents. We specialise in all areas of Nursing, Dementia and Residential Care.
Job Overview: You will take responsibility for the care and wellbeing of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met while leading, motivating and mentoring your team of Nurses and Carers. Strong leadership will ensure smooth, safe and efficient running of the care home and promote residents’ independence, dignity and choice.

Responsibilities And Duties:
- Provide leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and people management functions of the home.
- Carry out and provide leadership in marketing the service and selling its services at the agreed prices.
- Maintain the operations of the home at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider within the financial budget.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of those individuals they support, ensuring Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery.
- Undertake Care Planning activities for Service Users, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent.
- Develop and review Care Plans in collaboration with Service Users, their family and multidisciplinary team.
- Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional, and regulatory requirements.
- Induct new starters and conduct staff supervision and annual appraisals for heads of department.
- Develop staff to full potential, ensuring succession planning.
- Embed multidisciplinary team working in the service and act as a mentor to others.
- Update and monitor care plans, reviewing them as required.
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals and provide care in accordance with current best practice, policy, procedures and relevant regulations.
Requirements: Right to live and work in the UK.
