We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead our team at Mahogany Nursing Home, in Wigan. The Home Manager will oversee the daily operations of a nursing home located in Wigan. This is a full‑time, on‑site role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality care and compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing staff
  • Coordinating long‑term care plans
  • Overseeing budgets
  • Fostering a supportive environment for both residents and employees
  • Implementing training programs

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a Nursing Home and the day‑to‑day operations
  • Expertise in Elderly Care practices to ensure high‑quality resident support
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for efficient resource allocation
  • Ability to lead and conduct training programs for staff development and compliance
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
  • Relevant experience in the care sector, with an understanding of the complexities of managing elderly care facilities
  • A recognised management or healthcare‑related certification is essential. NMC Pin advantageous.
