About The Role
You will take responsibility for the care and wellbeing of our residents, ensuring that their physical, emotional and social needs are met. You will lead, motivate and mentor the team of Nurses and Carers, delivering clinical guidance and coaching to promote independence, dignity and choice. Accurate records, strong professional judgement and critical decision‑making are essential.

As Home Manager you will oversee all operations within the care home, ensuring smooth, safe and efficient running while maintaining high standards of care and compliance with legislation.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide leadership to all staff functions: administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and people management.
- Market the service and sell it at agreed prices.
- Maintain operations within the standard agreed with the Registered Provider and within the financial budget.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents and those they support.
- Ensure residents remain at the heart of care delivery, respecting wishes and preferences.
- Undertake care planning activities, meeting changing needs and ensuring privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent.
- Collaborate with residents, families, friends (where appropriate) and the multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
- Manage medicine administration in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
- Embed multidisciplinary team working in the service.
- Mentor others and build strong team relationships.
- Provide care in accordance with best practice, policies, procedures, agreed standards and relevant legislation within financial plans.

- Experience in managing a care home and knowledge of NHS regulations are desirable.
