Company Description: We Care Bespoke Ltd provide bespoke support for vulnerable children, young people, and adults throughout the Northeast of England. Our previous OFSTED ratings are ‘Good’. We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this dedication.
Role Description: This is a full-time, permanent role, located in Stanley. We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children and young people; to promote them to develop socially, emotionally, promote while offering enjoyment and achieving through all daily aspects. Create a setting where they feel safe and cared for. To act as a positive role model and work closely with the young people to enable them to overcome any barriers and achieve their maximum potential.
As a Senior, you will be required to shift lead; delegate, decision making, ensuring all tasks are undertaken, be a mentor for the staff and report to the Deputy and Registered Manager.
What we would like from you:
- NVQ/Diploma 3 with Children and Young People or equivalent.
- 12 months experience working with children.
- Have a UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
- Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding procedures and practices.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Thorough and accurate record keeping.
- Resilience and confident to support some challenging situations.
As a company we support staff development within. We provide full training required for the role, as well as putting staff through relevant diplomas and other qualifications.
