Hours: Waking Night Shifts (typically 12 hours per shift, 37 hours per week, Monday-Sunday including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)

Job Purpose
To provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for a child or young person living in a solo residential home during overnight hours. The Waking Night Support Worker is responsible for ensuring the young person's safety, welfare, and well-being throughout the night, responding to any needs or incidents, and maintaining the smooth operation of the home. The role requires vigilance and professionalism to support children and young people who may have experienced adverse childhood experiences, emotional difficulties, or challenging behaviours.
