Location: Community-based (Various locations across Durham Newcastle and Sunderland)

Salary: £14.85 per hour starting

Hours: Full-Time, Part-Time Flexible Hours Available

Driver Required: Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential

We're looking for caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Children's Outreach Support Workers to provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to children and young people with learning disabilities in the community. No two days are the same. Whether you're supporting a child to access activities they enjoy, develop independence, build confidence, or simply have fun in the community, you'll be making a genuine difference to their lives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing person-centred support tailored to each child's individual needs.
  • Supporting children and young people to access community activities, clubs, parks, leisure centres, and social opportunities.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills.
  • Supporting communication using individual communication methods where required.
  • Promoting emotional well-being and positive behaviour.
