Part Time/Sessional Children's Residential Support Worker We Care Bespoke are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of young people; to promote them to develop socially, emotionally, and behaviorally in a setting where they feel safe and cared for. To act as a positive role model and work closely with the young people to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their maximum potential. As a sessional worker you will be available to work ad hoc and planned shifts across our children's homes. Role and Responsibilities – Support the child/young person to maintain daily activities; personal care routines, medication, food preparation, etc – Ensure to maintain the child's health, personal, emotional well being and safety throughout – Support the child and staff in challenging situations -Maintain accurate and thorough records – Complete any household chores during the night – Support day staff with preparation throughout the night – Complete thorough handovers – Report any concerns in changes to a child/young person; health, behaviour, safeguarding concerns What we would like from you – Understands and has experience in thorough record keeping – Resilience and consistency – High level and strong communication – Ability to take direction · NVQ 2 in Health and Social care (children), or equivalent. · 12 months experience working with children. · Have a …
