About The Role
BCA Crawley and BCA Paddock Wood are looking for a brilliant mechanic who will work out of our 2 BCA Branches providing a fast and efficient service. We want someone who can work on their own and plan their own workload. We need someone who has experience of repairing a variety of vehicles. Previous experience in the motor trade and with different manufacturers is essential. We would love to hear from you if you are able to identify vehicle faults and diagnose issues.
What you will do
- With experience in a workshop, you will be confident in carrying out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and will enjoy working on a variety of cars in an ever-changing environment.
- Working on your own, you will plan the work needed for the week ahead.
- Working at a BCA branch, where you will work like a RAC / AA patrol.
- Take a day every 2 weeks to work from home to listen to engine videos from our retail partners.
About you:
- A current full UK manual driving license.
- Car mechanic background preferably time served.
- Able to demonstrate technical knowledge.
- Confident to make decisions about repairing issues ‘in-house’ or sending to outside repairers.
- Able to deliver brilliant 5* service to all our partners on-site in our hubs.
