About The Role

The IT Resource Technician will play a key part in maintaining the smooth running of our IT operations. You’ll manage device assets, support troubleshooting, coordinate equipment movements across our nationwide retail estate, and assist with daily stock and housekeeping tasks. This role is perfect for someone looking for their first step into IT, offering hands‑on experience and exposure to enterprise‑level systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Management — Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all IT equipment including laptops, mobiles, tablets, and peripherals.
  • Device Troubleshooting — Perform first‑line diagnostics on hardware issues and arrange repairs with suppliers or internal teams.
  • Equipment Logistics — Organise collections, deliveries, and returns of IT equipment to and from over 500 retail sites.
  • Stock Control — Support the IT Resource Manager with daily stock checks, inventory updates, and ordering.
  • General Housekeeping — Keep IT workspaces, storage areas, and equipment organised and compliant with internal standards.

Location & Working Pattern
