Renewables Project Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing renewable energy business, working on ground-mounted solar PV projects.
The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating contractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities.
- Coordinate site logistics, resources and project schedules.
- Act as the main on-site contact for clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor progress, costs and project milestones.
- Ensure HSQE and CDM requirements are maintained across site.
- Carry out site inspections and address any issues or risks.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Senior Project Manager.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover.
- Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in site-based project management, ideally within renewables or solar PV.
- Strong experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
- SMSTS and First Aid essential.
- IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of UK construction and renewable energy regulations.
- Experience using MS Project and other site management systems
