We Build Recruitment are looking to recruit a General Maintenance Operative on behalf of our client, a leading storage company based out of Wales. They are seeking a proactive and skilled General Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance across our company’s buildings at various locations throughout the UK. This includes providing general building maintenance to self-storage facilities, office complexes, and retail parades.
You will carry out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including:
- General building repairs – including roofing and cladding
- Plumbing
- Joinery
- Tiling
- Painting and decorating
- Carpeting
- Paving
- Drainage works
- Grounds maintenance and site clearance
- Site pressure washing
- Furniture assembly
- Furniture removal
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a building trade or property maintenance role
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
- Cladding and roofing experience (Desirable)
- CSCS card (Desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
