Renewables Site Supervisor
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a growing renewable energy business, working on ground-mounted solar PV projects.
The role will involve overseeing subcontractors and day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise subcontractors and monitor progress against project programmes.
- Carry out daily site inspections and ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
- Lead toolbox talks and maintain accurate site records.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure works meet project specifications.
- Identify and report any risks, delays or issues to the Project Manager.
- Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers on site.
- Assist with client visits, snagging and quality checks.
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in site supervision, ideally within renewables or solar PV.
- Experience managing subcontractors on construction sites.
- SMSTS and First Aid essential.
- IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
- Good understanding of UK construction and H&S regulations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
