We Build Recruitment are looking to recruit a MEP Project Manager on behalf of our client, a long established M&E and HVAC contractor based in Liverpool.\\n\\nPosition Summary:\\n\\nThe MEP Project Manager will oversee and manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and liaising with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nProject Planning and Coordination:\\n\\nLead the planning, execution, and completion of MEP projects.\\n\\nDevelop detailed project schedules and manage resource allocation.\\n\\nEnsure all project goals and milestones are met on time and within budget.\\n\\nTeam Leadership and Management:\\n\\nSupervise and direct MEP teams, subcontractors, and vendors.\\n\\nProvide guidance and technical support to team members.\\n\\nConduct regular meetings to track progress and resolve issues.\\n\\nClient and Stakeholder Liaison:\\n\\nCommunicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and provide project updates.\\n\\nAct as the main point of contact for all MEP-related project matters.\\n\\nAddress and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.\\n\\nBudget and Cost Management:\\n\\nPrepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control throughout the lifecycle.\\n\\nOversee procurement processes for MEP materials and equipment.\\n\\nMonitor and approve invoicing, payment schedules, and change orders.\\n\\nQuality Assurance and Compliance:\\n\\nEnsure that all MEP systems and installations adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and regulations.\\n\\nConduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality meets industry standards.\\n\\nImplement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.\\n\\nRisk Management and Problem Solving:\\n\\nIdentify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.\\n\\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues and delays as they arise.\\n\\nProactively address any potential delays to maintain project timelines.\\n\\nReporting and Documentation:\\n\\nMaintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and change orders.\\n\\nProvide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.\\n\\nEnsure all relevant project data is recorded and accessible.\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\nEducation:\\n\\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\\n\\nProject Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.\\n\\nExperience:\\n\\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in MEP project management, with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale MEP installations and construction projects.\\n\\nExperience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost management on construction projects.\\n\\nPrevious experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.\\n\\nSkills:\\n\\nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\\n\\nExcellent knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems.\\n\\nProficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).\\n\\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\\n\\nAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.\\n\\nSolid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
