We are currently looking for 2 x Industrial Gold Card Electricians for an upcoming industrial project in Erith, starting next week.
Requirements:
- Valid JIB Gold Card
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
- Proven industrial installation experience
- Ability to work independently and follow site specifications
- Strong attitude towards site safety and workmanship
Project Details:
- Industrial interceptor pit project
- Approx. 4–6 weeks duration
- 50 hours per week
- Working hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Breaks: 9:00am – 9:30am and 1:00pm – 1:30pm
- Immediate starts available
- Competitive hourly rates
Duties Include:
- Installation of containment
- Pulling and tying cables
- Glanding and terminating power & control cables
- Installation of IP66 strip lighting
- General industrial electrical installation works
Site Rules & PPE Requirements:
This is a strict industrial site and all operatives must adhere to site rules at all times.
- No phones or headphones allowed on site (office/canteen only)
- No smoking or vaping on site
- Full PPE required at all times:
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- Long sleeves (no skin showing)
- Hi-vis
- Trousers/overalls preferred (no shorts)
- Steel toe cap boots
- Gloves supplied on site
Operatives will be working from steps correctly, with zip-up towers and scaffolds available where required.
