Role & Responsibilities
- Join our Repairs Team at L&Q as an experienced Multi-trader/UPVC operative to work within the Reactive Maintenance Team covering Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Havering.
- Deal with all aspects of internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing repairs, door repairs, lock refits and repairs.
- Use carpentry skills as required to fulfil the role.
- Operate from an L&Q van (business use only); travel from your home address to job locations; work with PDA (hand-held device) to receive jobs.
- Deliver high levels of customer service as a first point of contact to residents, aiming for right-first-time service and limiting follow-ons.
- Work within in-house maintenance team core hours (generally Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm); there is potential to earn more from call-outs and out-of-hours service.
