Working Location: Trafford Borough and surrounding areas

Persona: Site Based Worker: Contractual hours to be worked from allocated site(s), with ad hoc office attendance as required

Working Pattern: 8am to 4pm

Join our Caretaking Team at L&Q: We are looking for somebody who will enhance our high performing front line services in the role of Caretaker. You will be based within our Trafford area but there will be some travel to surrounding areas. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to maintain excellent service to our customers and colleagues. The role can be challenging and physically demanding, delivering services in Caretaking services. Experience of a similar role would be beneficial, full training is also provided to reach the required standards.

Your impact in the role:

  • Use practical work techniques to ensure that a high standard of service is maintained in an assigned area to support the delivery of efficient internal services.
  • Undertake routine training and monitoring to ensure continuous improvement and personal development is completed.
  • Cleaner within the caretaking industry
  • Clearing items from communal areas to storage locations
  • Manual handling and working at height
  • Use of various chemicals and mandatory PPE
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with colleagues & customers
  • Working in a variety of teams under the direction of Driver Mentors as instructed by Planners & Line Managers

What you'll bring:

  • Basic knowledge of tools and materials associated with property cleaning, and potentially minor grounds maintenance.
  • Problem solving

  • Working within Risk Assessments and procedures

  • Use of mobile phone, mobile working apps and basic IT systems
  • A full UK Driving license is desirable
