We are looking for a skilled Electrician with experience in panel wiring to join our team for weekend work. The role involves assembling, wiring and testing electrical control panels to meet technical drawings and specifications.

  • Build and wire electrical control panels from schematic diagrams and technical drawings
  • Install components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, and terminal blocks
  • Carry out point-to-point wiring and cable routing
  • Test and inspect completed panels to ensure quality and functionality
  • Fault find and resolve wiring or component issues
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards and health & safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with design engineers and production teams
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Personal Specifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • Proven experience in electrical panel wiring or control panel assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
