We are looking for a skilled Electrician with experience in panel wiring to join our team for weekend work. The role involves assembling, wiring and testing electrical control panels to meet technical drawings and specifications.
- Build and wire electrical control panels from schematic diagrams and technical drawings
- Install components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, and terminal blocks
- Carry out point-to-point wiring and cable routing
- Test and inspect completed panels to ensure quality and functionality
- Fault find and resolve wiring or component issues
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards and health & safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with design engineers and production teams
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Personal Specifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Proven experience in electrical panel wiring or control panel assembly
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
