Our client based in South Tyneside are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team on an ongoing contract.
Working on damp and mould inspections within the Healthy Homes team. Undertaking detailed inspections of residential properties to identify causes of damp, mould and condensation. Diagnose building defects. Providing technical solutions to ensure properties meet Healthy Homes standards and statutory requirements.
Person Specification
- Must have relevant qualification in Building Surveying (e.g. HNC/HND, Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent)
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Must have a valid Skilled CSCS card
- Experience working within social housing is highly desirable
- Successful candidates must have the following certificates: Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights and Abrasive Wheels.
