We Are Zenith are looking for an experienced Commercial Heating Engineer to assist with the provision of a professional service to a variety of customers and clients within Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure heating, ventilation and mechanical services are maintained.
- To carry out commercial and domestic heating repairs in response to reported faults, diagnosing faults and replacing defective parts as necessary.
- Ensure all statutory requirements are adhered to at all times.
- To carry out works associated with gas and oil heating appliances.
- To install full central heating systems and boiler replacements.
- To work from drawings and specifications.
- To carry out repairs/renewal to refurbishment works.
- To assist in the annual maintenance programme works, checking, servicing, cleaning and replacing parts.
- To provide a full plumbing and heating service across all services.
- To carry out various tasks in response work.
- To inspect water tank systems.
- Provide general reports on fault finding.
- To ensure that the vehicle allocated to the post holder is safe to drive and that any damages or vehicle faults are reported immediately.
- To provide supervision and give instruction to Labourers.
- To evaluate the task, quantify and procure materials as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Commercial Heating Engineer.
- Must have a full UK Driving License.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
