Zenith are looking to recruit an experienced AI & Microsoft Training Specialist. In this role you will design, deliver and continuously improve high-impact learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes for learners and employer partners. Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager, you will play a key role in delivering and enhancing AI and automation apprenticeship pathways, including:

  • Level 3 AI Integration Digital Support Technician
  • Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner

Within the role, you will work closely with the wider apprenticeship delivery team to ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. You will enable learners and employers to adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI-driven ways of working, translating technical capability into practical, real-world impact.

Responsibilities

  • AI Programme & Apprenticeship Delivery: Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across AI and digital apprenticeship programmes. Embed Microsoft Copilot and AI tools into apprenticeship delivery and learner activities. Support learners through their full journey, including onboarding, progression and preparation for end-point assessment. Maintain a strong focus on learner outcomes, achievement and progression.
  • Curriculum & Content Development: Design and develop engaging, industry-relevant learning content aligned to apprenticeship standards. Create blended learning materials (workshops, digital modules, video content and practical labs). Continuously improve content based on learner feedback, employer input and performance data.
  • Training Delivery & Facilitation: Deliver training across multiple formats including classroom-based sessions, virtual delivery (Microsoft Teams), and 1:1 and small group coaching. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that enable learners to apply Microsoft tools effectively in their roles, use Copilot to improve productivity, and build simple solutions using Copilot Studio.
  • AI Adoption & Workplace Application: Support employers to embed AI tools into business processes. Deliver practical training on prompt engineering fundamentals, workflow optimisation using AI, and automation opportunities through Copilot Studio and related tools. Promote responsible AI use, including governance, data protection and ethical considerations.
  • Learner Support & Progress Monitoring: Track learner progress and provide timely support and feedback. Conduct regular reviews to ensure learners remain on track. Identify and address barriers to learning and achievement. Support safeguarding and wellbeing in line with organisational policies.
  • Stakeholder & Employer Engagement: Build strong working relationships with employer partners. Support training needs analysis to identify digital and AI capability gaps. Provide guidance to employers on skills development and AI adoption. Work collaboratively with business development and curriculum teams.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain accurate learner records in line with ESFA funding rules. Ensure delivery meets Ofsted quality standards. Participate in internal quality assurance processes and audits. Contribute to continuous improvement across apprenticeship provision.
  • Professional Development & Innovation: Stay up to date with developments in Microsoft technologies, AI and automation. Continuously enhance your own knowledge and delivery capability. Contribute to the development of new AI and digital training programmes. Act as an advocate for innovation within the Apprenticeships team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Essential: Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience), experience delivering training within apprenticeships or workforce development, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), understanding of Microsoft Copilot and its application in workplace productivity, experience supporting learners to achieve structured learning outcomes, strong communication, facilitation and coaching skills, ability to manage workload independently and meet delivery targets, strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, adaptable, proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Desirable: Experience delivering AI or digital apprenticeship standards, experience with Copilot Studio or Power Platform tools, understanding of prompt engineering and AI adoption, knowledge of automation tools and workflow design, awareness of apprenticeship funding and compliance requirements, teaching or training qualification (e.g. AET, CET, DET), relevant Microsoft certifications.
