To deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Motor Vehicle programmes, supporting students to develop the practical skills, technical knowledge and professional behaviours required for successful progression into the automotive industry. The post holder will contribute to curriculum development, student achievement, and the maintenance of a safe and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across Motor Vehicle programmes. Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. Develop learning materials that meet awarding body and industry requirements. Support students in achieving qualifications, personal targets and career aspirations. Maintain a safe workshop and classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Participate in curriculum development and quality improvement activities. Liaise with employers, industry partners and stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance. Attend departmental meetings, professional development activities and college events as required. Promote equality, diversity, inclusion and safeguarding practices at all times. Undertake administrative duties associated with teaching and assessment.
