We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a two-day contract over the weekend. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and machinery.
Job Specification:
- Assemble and install mechanical components, machinery, and equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and company procedures
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Conduct testing and commissioning of equipment where required
