We Are Zenith are looking for experienced Highways Operatives on behalf of our client based in Gateshead.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of highways maintenance and construction works.
- Tarmac surfacing and reinstatement works.
- Kerb installation and repairs.
- Footpath and pavement repairs.
- Flagstone laying, replacement and maintenance.
- Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in all aspects of highways work.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ride-on Roller qualification/certification.
- Abrasive Wheels qualification.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Desirable Requirements
- HGV Licence, as driving HGV vehicles may form part of the role
