Zenith are working with a leading North-East manufacturer to recruit a Time-Served Electrician (18th Edition) with strong manufacturing experience. Based at the North East site with regular UK travel, you’ll keep customer equipment running safely and efficiently while supporting maintenance, refurbishments, testing, and commissioning.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical maintenance & installs across UK customer sites
- Fault-finding on control systems and carrying out corrective repairs
- Refurbishment & commissioning work on customer equipment
- Technical support for customers, project teams, and warranty issues
- Planned & reactive maintenance with occasional overseas travel
- Coordinating sub-contractors on site
- System upgrades & modifications
- Accurate reporting & RAMS for all site activities
- Customer liaison and on-site training when required
What You’ll Need:
- 18th Edition (essential)
- Strong electrical maintenance background in manufacturing environments
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Confident communicator with solid IT skills
- Supervisory experience is essential
