We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to work across a range of domestic and commercial properties. This role involves a mixture of maintenance, installation, and compliance testing and requires the ability to work to a high standard.

Job Description

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance in domestic and commercial settings
  • Complete new electrical installations, upgrades, and refurbishments
  • Undertake fire alarm testing and ensure systems meet relevant safety regulations
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and report any faults or required repairs
  • Fault-find, diagnose issues, and provide practical solutions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including test certificates and job reports
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical standards and health & safety guidelines

Personal Specification

  • Fully qualified Electrician (e.g., NVQ Level 3, AM2, or equivalent)
  • Enhanced DBS (valid within 12 months)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience across domestic and commercial environments
  • Strong understanding of testing and inspection processes
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
  • Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
  • Experience with fire alarm installation/maintenance
  • Previous work within facilities, maintenance, or project-based roles
