We Are Zenith are pround to be working with our client who are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers within a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engineering performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, delivering planned maintenance activities, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and support a team of engineers to achieve operational and engineering objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and environmental standards
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, performance and cost control.
  • Monitor engineering KPIs and provide accurate performance reporting.
  • Support site projects, audits, contractor management and equipment upgrades.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within High Volume Manufacturing
  • HND (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
  • Strong Health & Safety knowledge and experience.
  • Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience of SAP would be advantageous.
