To work on a production line building electronic lighting assemblies to a high quality at an appropriate production rate.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands‑on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work

Product build, testing and packing to agreed quality standards.
Complete paperwork as required.
Support with regular cycle counts and stock checks.
To maintain required housekeeping standards.
Actively participate in continuous improvement activity.
Gain a good understanding of manufacturing through continuous training.
Other production related activity as requested.

Training

  • An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation.
  • At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
  • Working towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship.
  • Standard training will take place at the employers site.
