About the role. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Labourer to support the day-to-day operations of our busy Redditch yard. Reporting to the Site Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised site. The primary focus of the role is to carry out wash bay duties, ensuring plant machinery and company vehicles are cleaned and prepared to a high standard. You will also assist with general yard maintenance, housekeeping tasks, and the movement of machinery across the site. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Duties and responsibilities:
  • Wash Bay Operations: Clean and prepare plant machinery, company cars, vans, and other company assets to required standards.
  • Operate jet washers, brushes, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe wash bay area at all times.
  • Yard Maintenance.
