We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers on an on-going basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Willenhall depot. The role consists of refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to stores. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.
Shifts available: Monday to Friday Midday starts 12:00. Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £16.46 (overtime after 47.5 hrs £18.52)
- Saturday £18.52
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.69
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £18.81 (overtime after 47.5 hrs £20.87)
- Saturday £20.87
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.04
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Day to day duties will include the following:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicle checks.
- Refueling vehicles.
- Multi-drop deliveries.
- Manual Handling trolleys.
The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the route and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
- At least 6 months of Class 2 driving experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- UK driving licence with a Cat C entitlement.
- Digi & CPC card with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
