We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for full time temporary roles in our depot in Raunds (Wellingborough). The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well-known international dairy company with a modern and well-looked-after fleet. Immediate starts for successful candidates after passing assessment and induction.

Shift patterns available:

  • Tuesday to Saturday 01:00 start
  • Tuesday to Saturday 12:00 (midday) start
  • Monday to Friday 12:45 start

Day pay rates:

  • Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
  • Saturday £19.46
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

  • Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
  • Saturday £21.92
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

  • Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
  • Prepping vehicles for delivery.
  • Completing vehicle checks.
  • Refueling vehicles.
  • Multi-drop deliveries.
  • Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
  • Manual handling of trolleys.
  • Ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the route and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

  • At least 6 months of Class One driving experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
  • Digi & CPC Card no more than 6 points for minor offences.
  • Immediate start for successful candidates.
  • Free onsite secured colleague car parking.
