Transport Coordinator Nights – Droitwich

We are currently recruiting for a full-time transport coordinator on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 18:00-06:00, for our busy depot in Droitwich.

Immediate start for the successful candidate.

£38,447 per annum

Your tasks would include:

Responsible for the daily driver briefings and debriefings, ensuring all improvement opportunities are identified and implemented through PMS (driver performance improvements).
Promote and embed the Muller safety culture through the use of STAR cards, conduct safety sweeps, and fully support all accident/incident investigations.
Maintain the site Run folder, ensuring all run changes are communicated.
Follow breakdown management and recovery procedures for all MMI vehicles.
Control site assets (GKNs, trolleys, handheld devices).
Drive operational excellence improvement opportunities and take action to implement tracked initiatives.
Build a thorough understanding of all work instructions and SOPs, ensuring they are adhered to.
Responsible for service level reporting, including customer service, shorts, and late reporting.
Ensure resource allocation is in place, checked, reviewed regularly, and all changes communicated, ensuring all drivers comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage the site fuel master key and track all usage.
Coordinate vehicle servicing with the garage function.
Manage the Daily Tacho Master system, ensuring driver compliance with legal requirements.
Oversee trailer checks, including temperature monitoring, and conduct regular audits.
Manage cross-dock operations.
Ensure regular AS400 housekeeping.
Display and promote MMI behaviors.
Manage 3PL operations.
