Redditch Head Office Full-Time | Permanent Office-Based | 5 Days Per Week

Are you technically minded with strong customer support skills and an interest in construction technology and innovative equipment solutions? We’re looking for a Technology Products Support Officer to join our Komatsu Technology Team based at our Redditch Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge machine control and smart construction technology, supporting both customers and internal teams across the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing first‑line technical support for Komatsu Technology products, including Komatsu iMC machines, Smart Construction products, 3DMG and aftermarket systems such as Topcon, Trimble, Leica and Tilt Rotators
  • Supporting customers and internal teams via telephone, email and remote access systems
  • Assisting machine operators, engineers and sales teams with product and software queries
  • Managing and responding to support requests through the ticketing system, ensuring agreed response targets are achieved
  • Producing reports and analysis relating to customer support activity
  • Building strong working relationships with customers and colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
  • Supporting the continued growth and effective use of Komatsu technology products across the business

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook and Excel
  • Strong technical aptitude with excellent problem‑solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Proactive and organised approach
  • GCSEs Grade A–C (or equivalent)

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar support or technical role
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • A consultative approach when supporting customers
  • Basic understanding of GNSS/GPS technology within earthworks or civil engineering environments
  • A willingness to continually learn and develop technical knowledge
