Job Role β Tax Senior
The role will include:
- Completion and processing of personal self-assessment tax returns
- Completion and processing of partnership self-assessment tax returns
- Completion and processing of forms P11D
- Knowledge of Corporation Tax and Capital Allowances is advantageous
- Knowledge of Trust/Estate Tax Returns is advantageous
- Knowledge of Inheritance Tax is advantageous
- Preparation of basic income & expenditure accounts for sole traders
- Preparation of rental accounts
- Checking & agreeing PAYE coding notices
- Checking & agreeing taxation statements of account
- Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs via telephone or correspondence
- Handling clientsβ tax affairs on a day-to-day basis
In-house training on our systems and procedures will be provided. This is a senior role requiring experience and solid tax knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications
The candidate should be hardworking and professional, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). A full clean driving license is preferable. Qualifications include:
- AAT/ATT qualified or part-qualified
- GCSEs (5 or more) graded 6 or above, including Maths and English
- A/S and A Levels graded B or above
Remuneration
This role offers an attractive package:
- Annual salary of Β£27,000 β Β£31,000
- Company pension contributions of 3%
- Annual leave of 21 days plus bank holidays, plus 2 additional days at set times
- 1 volunteer day per year for charity work
- Up to 2 days per week WFH after probation, booked in advance
- Monthly team lunch courtesy of Pinfields
- Participation in a busy social calendar
