We're looking for a dedicated HGV Driver Trainer to join our team in Skelmersdale, helping to maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and driver performance across the operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding training role while remaining involved in driving operations during peak periods.

- Start Time: 14:00
- 5 on / 2 off rota
Pay Rates
- Day Rates
- Monday to Friday: £17.30 per hour
- Overtime after 47.5 hours: £19.46 per hour
- Saturday: £19.46 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.95 per hour
- Night Rates
- Monday to Friday: £19.77 per hour
- Overtime after 47.5 hours: £21.92 per hour
- Saturday: £21.92 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £28.41 per hour

What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting driving assessments for new and existing drivers
- Delivering Driver CPC training sessions
- Supporting route learning and site familiarisation
- Monitoring tachograph compliance and driver performance
- Coaching drivers on safety, fuel efficiency, and best practice
- Mentoring candidates through training programmes
- Supporting driving operations when required
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Category C+E Licence held for at least 3 years
- Strong knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations
- Good understanding of the Road Transport Working Time Directive (RTWTD)
- Ability to confidently deliver training and coaching
- Professional, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Flexible approach to support operational requirements
